Primary
role:
Direct
and control overall operations activities to ensure the achievement of the
company’s short-term and long-term objectives
Responsibilities:
1.
Develop
operations plan and strategies including pricing on buying rates based on
operations costs and monitor the overall performance
2.
Consistently
review & monitor operating costs and minimize them whenever possible in
order to maintain profit margins and to maintain competitiveness in the market
3.
To
maintain customer relations together with marketing team
4.
To
maintain relations with customs and ministries, and other related third parties
involved in import and export matters
5.
To
supervise and manage operations staff and field staff to ensure error
minimization, zero delays and to maximize productivity.
6.
Develop,
guide and monitor direct subordinates to achieve optimal performance through
coaching & counseling, conducting performance management, training and
other developmental tools.

Licensing
for Customs clearance, EDI & related company activities
§
Coordinating
activities between Customer Service & Field Operations
§
Ensuring
the same structure & process are successfully applied in branch offices
§
Ensuring
the achievement of internal KPI’s relating to operations activities
§
Developing
new ideas to overcome challenges faced with Customs and other government
bodies.
§
Ensuring
BDP Indonesia has strong liaisons in Customs & other related government
offices
§
Achieving
per unit operations costs which are lower than our competitors while
maintaining service quality
§
Ensuring
the licenses required to operate customs brokerage & EDI are current and
sufficient, basis Indonesian laws.
7.
Responsible for ensuring that BDP’s Management System Standards are followed
and enforced.
8.
Ensure compliance to legislative requirements are met or exceeded.
Competencies:
-
Min Bachelor degree, PPJK holder
-
Posses min 7 years experience, 5 years in Customs Broker Manager role
- Knowledgeable
about the freight forwarding and or logistics operations
-
Vast knowledge about Indonesian custums clearance procedures and regulations
-
Strong leadership
-
Dynamic and eager to meet business challenges
-
Fluent in oral and written English
