Retail is the one of the largest industries in the world in the terms of both size and the number of people employed globally. The retail industry has pioneered many breakthrough supply chain concept like cross docking or vendor managed inventory. Leading retailers like Wal-Mart, Zara and Amazon bring in supply chain innovations regularly to challenge those old age supply chain beliefs. In this one-day course, we will discuss different aspects of retail supply chain. Based on Rajesh Ray's book, this course is conducted to serve as an introduction for logistics and supply chain management courses, specifically covering retail supply chain.

He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain professional with 10+ years supply chain experience. His Supply Chain background includes logistics engineering, transportation, finance, demand planning and customer service in Top 500 Fortune Companies such as Wal-Mart and Unilever. After finishing his undergraduate in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Teguh continued his education at Sam Walton Business School in University of Arkansas and graduated with MBA degree, emphasis on Transportation and Logistics. Right now he domiciles in Fayetteville, Arkansas and serves as VP of Education in APICS Northwest Arkansas Chapter.
