PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY

This role will focus on activities within our Public Safety & Security offerings.

This team is focused on the needs of the Public Safety and Security industry with a goal of improving emergency response and protecting the lives of nearly 500 million people around the world. Our reliable, integrated command and control solutions help transform vast amounts of data into intelligent information, enabling public safety agencies to communicate across the complete enterprise, make better, faster decisions, and distribute information wherever it is needed most.

 

Position Summary/Purpose

 

Your primary role is to define, configure and implement Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure's applications to meet customer acceptance. Your secondary role is to provide Level 2 "as implemented" application support for designated customers and software applications.

 

Main Activities

 

•         Develop, improve and use Quality, System Build, Testing and Transition plans to meet contractual commitments including time frame, quality and cost dimensions.  Application Implementation consultants are required to :

•         Define and deliver configuration requirements and integration design

•         Configure and implement the applications at the required level of quality

•         Actively participate in software configuration planning and management

•         Actively alert management to all design, build, testing and quality risks, assumptions and dependencies

•         Submit all project management work in progress data on time

•         Act as the Level 2 application support specialist resource and as needed Level 2 Support Manager to deliver the contracted response times at various severity levels for mission or business critical configured and implemented applications.

•         Participate in pre-sales activities with the Business Development Manager and Industry Specialists as requested by the Customer Project Manager or VP Professional Services.

•         Assist in the preparation of quotations and tender process responses such as EOI's, RFT's, RFQ's as requested by the Business Development Manager/Project Manager.

•         Be available for the 24 X 7on call support roster

•         Other tasks as directed from time to time

 

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS Required

 

Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering qualification or equivalent

 

POSITION SPECIFIC SKILLS / COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCE

 

•         Intermediate skills: Oracle, SQL Server, Windows .NET Application implementation

•         Proven experience in Mobile Application development (iOS/Android)

•         Experience in data network Infrastructure, wide area networking.

•         Able to configure data bases in Oracle and/or SQL Server

•         Proven experience in Web enabled applications and services

•         Strong knowledge of the Windows environment

•         Ability to Obtain and hold a National Police Security Clearance

•         Fluency in local Indonesian and Malaysian as well as good English language a must

•         Knowledge of Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure's products highly regarded
